In this study, the ?economic stimulus package? put into effect on 16 March 2009 to lessen the impacts of 2007/8 global crisis is investigated from the game theoretical perspective. For this purpose, classical game theory instruments that utilize the decision making process of conflicting players over scarce resources is used in order to explain economical or political preferences. As for the identification of the players, actor centered institutionalism is utilized to predefine composite players, political and employer organizations. The players? exhibited behaviors during crisis periods and reference system rules that effect the decision making process have been explained.Adhering to players? subjective definition of crisis, the preferences that could increase their gains during economic crisis periods are explained in theoretical frame. The relationship between the Turkish government and employer organizations during the beginning of the economic crisis period is modelled using the bargaining game. The effects that emerged admission of the economic stimulus package is modelled using the screening game with respect to the data gathered from the white goods sector. Inside the model, players? preferences and gains obtained are interpreted within cause and effect relationship, the effect of economic stimulus package on players? financial gains and the players that benefited from tax reductions are inspected to evaluate the cooperative and conflicting nature of players? portrayed behaviors against each other in accordance with their preferences.Within that period, while some players are found to have the power to increase their gains by bargaining or monitoring other players? preferences, others with incomplete information are found to make adverse selection that had negative impacts on their gains.Due to the nature of behaviors exhibited by players toward one another, employer organizations reach to a point of bargaining and cooperating with the government. The government and the private sector took a competitive stand point against the composite players (individuals) with their decisions while the composite players acting reconciliatory. Composite players with their reconciliatory acts were the ones enduring the highest cost against the players acting competitively.
