Abstract (EN)
Aim: We have done this study with the purpose of comparing the results of open andlaparascopic RYGBP surgery that we have already been applying in our clinic with theliterature by reviewing the treatment options in the world after defining the morbidobesity, which is a big trouble all around the world due to its effects against people?shealth as well as the economical harms that it results.Materials-Methods: There was 214 gastric by-pass patients that we performed of 186open and 28 laparascopic prosedure between 2006 and 2012. Three of laparoscopicprosedures turned to open with applying conversion. That made a comparison forcomplications, mortality and the technique that applied between the literature and ourpatients.Results: In addition, there was %15,4 complications and %1,4 mortality. There was nomortality in our laparoscopic prosedure. The ratio of turning to open was %10,7.Although there has been splen injury, there has no splenectomy. Anostomosis leak wasconsists of a rate of %2,1, gastrointestinal system hemorrhage was %1,07, and mortalitywas %1,4. There was no splenic injury, gastrointestinal system hemorrhage and exitusin laparoscopically. Anostomosis leak was consists of 3 patients in the ratio of %10,7in operations.Conclusion:There was no significant difference if we have compare the findings thatwe obtained in our clinic and literature. We can say that the surgical threatment of thisdesease is succesfully and effectively performing in our clinic as open andlaparoscopically RYGBP like the whole world.
