Abstract (EN)
It is clear that cinema as a social and cultural phenomenon has an important effect on changing social and cultural life. This effect occurs with different consequences in different layers of society. Numerous research has been done academically on the social and cultural functions of Turkish cinema in our country. Cinema can influence the formation of a social and cultural mentality. Therefore, cinema intersects with the fictional world in its works with the social life through the audience in society. Therefore, the themes in the movie, the lives of the characters inside and outside the movie, the symbols in the film and the message to be given inform the members of the community of the level of the image. Religion and religious elements can also take on the characters, themes, symbols, and message to be featured in the film.
