Özet (EN)
Turkey has significantly been affected by natural disasters in recent years, and the most important of these natural disasters are earthquakes. For this reason, the regulations in our country have been renewed in recent years according to today's conditions. The most important of these are the REGULATION ON DESIGN, ACCOUNT, AND CONSTRUCTION PRINCIPLES OF STEEL STRUCTURES, which came into force in 2016, and the TURKISH BUILDING EARTHQUAKE REGULATION, which entered into force in 2018. Most of the building stock produced in our country consists of reinforced concrete structures. In addition to this, the supply of steel structures has increased in the last two decades, especially in industrial areas. According to increasing demand and need since the beginning of the 2000s, high-rise buildings, biochemical facilities, etc., both reinforced concrete and steel have been used together in structures; There has been a transition to the HYBRID system. This study discusses a composite structure consisting of both a reinforced concrete structure and a steel structure built on top of it. The system examined is a ten-floor MIXED BUILDING with a total area of 2800 m2. The first two floors are reinforced concrete, and the other eight floors are steel. According to the new regulation, the same building, which was designed in 2017 and built-in Afyon, was redesigned in 2019. Thus, the behavior of the reinforced concrete structure according to the old and new regulations was examined using the STA4-CAD program. The steel structure is solved in the SAP2000 program, and the cross-section effects on the lowest columns have been given to the reinforced concrete structure as an external load. To make a complete comparison, reinforced concrete and steel structure were solved using the SAP2000 program. The results were compared based on base shear forces, periods, and section effects at critical sections.
