Abstract (EN)

According to the principle of "equality and generality" of the basic principles of Turkish national education, educational institutions are open to everyone regardless of language, religion, race, gender, disability. In accordance with the equality and generality principles of education, textbooks are delivered to all students through educational institutions in the country. The contribution of technological means to education is undeniable. However, taking into account the fact that books maintain their place among being the main sources of education, one can realize the importance of the content of these books in the transfer of culture to the new generations. The teaching of the Turkish language and literature course within the scope of the 2018 Turkish language and literature curriculum is no longer centered on literature history. It is now text type-centered. In this study, in the textbooks prepared according to the 2018 Turkish language and literature curriculum, the ways in which Turkish folk literature texts are included, whether the characteristics of these texts are reflected or not, and whether there is a the contribution of the questions in the text comprehension and analysis section to the learning of the subject were evaluated.
