Transcription and evaluation of Kastamonu Court Record Number 21 (H. 1128-1129/M. 17161717)

Court records are being considered as an important source of information and a reliable source for history researchs. Court records include decisions, laws, announcements and calls given by the times judges kadı. Court records show the Ottoman Empire's culture, law system and management system between 15th and 20th century. Court records should be used in researches. İn this thesis a court report number 21 is used. The purpose of this thesis is to discover and show the history of Kastamonu Thesis also focuses and gives a good information about Kastamonu's political system, law and management policies. In this thesis Kastamonu Court record 1128-1129/M. 1716-1717 is used. This court record could be found and Ankara national library-microfilm archieve. Court record no:21 is used as a source to understand accidents, villages, vicinities and from the material records a good amount of information can be gained about, clothes, accesories, tools and weapons.
