Abstract (EN)

The production of culture, on the other hand, refers to the reflection of the change in the parts, that is, in the individuals, in the whole, that is, in the society. Cultural transformations occur in the attitudes, behaviors, ways of thinking, margins of perception of life, etc., of more than one person. takes place with similar/together changes. There are many causes/triggers for these changes. Advances in scientific research, technological developments, ideological diffusion policies, self-interested perception manipulations and efforts to produce culture, and strategies formed by countries/society's desire to be powerful are among the factors affecting cultures Today, cultural transformations are taking place very quickly. In the research, it is aimed to examine the activities of influential power centers in the cultural transformation, the behavior of people against these activities, the place of new media technologies in this system, the effect of art on mass drift and usage. For this, a literature review was conducted on the ways and causes of individuals' exposure to perception management, the orientation of conformist individuals to take place and acceptance in the changing culture, and the use of new media technologies and art in the mass drift under the control of social engineers. As a result of the evaluations, it has been determined that today, the neocratic hegemons, who plan cultural changes in line with their interests, use the new media as a tool and environment in their expansion policies, art is used in perception management in futuristic structures, and conformist individuals prefer to adapt instead of resisting within this structure and are exposed to mass drift. It can be said that research on the functioning and negative effects of this system, which manipulates cultures, is important because it will provide benefits such as obtaining information about current issues, not suffering from loss of self, not being ruled by others, questioning the way of perceiving existence and life. The increased use of new media technologies in the future may reduce physical interaction between individuals and it may weaken the virtual world and real world relationships. This may lead to an increase in lack of empathy, internet addiction and social isolation. However, the use of technology and the way society adapts to this change will determine the severity of these effects.
