Abstract (EN)

Ottoman state would make a detailed and concise general calculation of the the places conquered or annexed. Today these records are kept in the Ottoman archives of Ministry of Presidency in Finance department of Müdevver notebooks. Upon research on related literature we have found that limited works have been done on this issue. Considering this insufficiency of research on this related literature title we will attempt to cover this issue by this research . We have identified that the related researches have been done by scientists namely Halil Inalcik, Mehmet Akif Erdogru, and Dogan Yoruk . However , it's understood from those literatures that it only includes partially of 241 number Notebook. Considering this insufficiency of research on this related literature title we will attempt to cover this issue by this research. We will search and identify Timar owners, and distribution of population to villages , towns , and streets by reading notebook that belongs to Karaman province. The aim of this research is to translate number 241 Mudevver notebook from ministry of finance from Ottoman script to Latin script . At the end of the study, the Karaman State's (Beylerbeyliği) districts, provinces, canary, names, number of hamlets and neighborhoods were identified. After the analysis and translation of the book No. 241 circular Stated Book (Müdevver Defteri) It was determined that it has 5 provinces, 306 village, 41 neighborhoods and 54 hamlets. It is observed that some neighborhoods and villages belong to the non-Muslims. In addition, in the Book of population registry shows that 9286 households, 1215 abstract and 10501 soldiers. Later, the number of people who have been identified as residents of the population in these places, settlement, Hamlets and neighborhoods situation by giving the form of distribution of the table that according to the population distribution in urban and rural areas that have been identified.
