Political party organizations in İzmir in the Period of 27 May(1960-1965)

The Democratic Party in power elected, in 1950 it ruled the country until 27 May 1960 coup. Tens of thousand people attended the meeting on 15 May 1960 and reported their loyalty to the Adnan Menderes. The fact that the 1960 coups was made to of the Democratic Party increases the importance of Izmir. Developments in the restriction process after the 27 May of 1960's it left important traces until 10 Ekim 1965 general election. This study 27 May 1960 military intervention the period beginning with the 1961 constitution in a referandum on 15 October 1961 general elections on 17 November 1963 and 10 October 1965 elections in the period between the years 1960-1965 have been given to the activities of political parties in Izmir.
