Özet (EN)

The task in the mechanism, the load applied, the reduction rate, material and method of production is important in the cylindrical helical gear wheel manufacturing process. During the process of manufacturing planning, special attention must be paid to durability and cost effectiveness which requires extensive engineering calculations and intensive analysis. Nowadays, the most common way to manufacture gears are to use either micro machining and precast molding or swaging. However as in many complicated machine parts, gear wheels are also produced by means of 3D printers. In this thesis, the gears are grouped according to their usage areas and tooth forms, the types of gear wheels, the methods of manufacturing, the types of damage that may occur in the gears, the tooth forces in the helical gear mechanism are studied and the gear modeling has been completed after the gear dimensions are calculated. In the following stages; our main production method, mainly 3D printers, materials used in these printers, the wear resistance of helical gear wheels produced with these printers are examined experimentally. In this study, a table-top power transmission test device has been manufactured for wear tests. Wear tests were carried out with helical gear wheels at different loads and cycles. The wear amounts and wear depths of the gear wheels are determined after each trial. For the amount of wear, a precise weighing machine with a precision of 10-4 g is used balance is used and surface roughness measurement device is used to assess the abrasion. According to the data obtained, the appropriate working conditions of the gear wheels produced by the three-dimensional printer were determined. The abrasions formed in the gear pairs operated under different loads and cycles are given in tables and graphs. Deformations were analyzed by using the graphs and tables obtained as a result and the most appropriate parameters were determined to produce the more precise helical gear wheels faster with three-dimensional printers.
