Infographic presentation with 3D medical illustrations: Example of liver cirrhosis

Illustration used in many areas such as promoting a service, visualizing articles in newspapers, magazines and encyclopedias has become a necessity in today's medical science. In scientific studies and social information, it is possible to convey the human body and various treatment methods more clearly and clearly to physicians, patients, and all readers interested in medical science with medical illustrations. Nowadays, illustration techniques can be transferred to the field and physicians in a more effective and more detailed way with developing technology and software. Imaging techniques emerging with the modern medical process can be redesigned according to the disease and treatment method according to two-dimensional and three-dimensional illustration techniques. In this context, medical illustration is seen as a necessity for everyone who has medical education and publishes articles and notices in this field. This research, in which medical illustration is considered as the main subject, aims to explain the development process of medical illustration throughout history, the developmental stages of the disease, the interventions and treatment methods, infographic presentations for its recognition and explanation, three-dimensional medical illustration technique and information about the design process. In the research, qualitative research method, which is defined as a descriptive research approach, with audio-visual examples about illustration, medical illustration, historical development and infographic presentation of three-dimensional medical illustrations and design elements will be used.
