Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to make the transcript of the 417 numbered court record which contains the records of the Ottoman city of Siirt and its affiliated places in the light of the necessary explanations and evaluations, in this context, to understand the Ottoman family and therefore the social and economic aspects of the Ottoman Empire and Siirt. and clarify. There are cases, foundations, land-property sales, guardianship, and voluntary registries that have been transferred to the Ottoman court in the central and connected villages and towns of Siirt. This structure has also been reflected in the sources of the court because of the multicultural and different ethnic identities in the region. Therefore, the essence of our work, 417 Siirt court record is a book of people belonging to a particular religion is recorded in the book rather than Muslim and non-Muslims is a book of the record.
