The transcri̇pti̇on and document summari̇es of Kastamonu Corut Record no. 4553 (H. 1309-1311)

Court registers, one of the sources of Ottamon history, judge's official correspondence with the center of the state, complaints and wishes of the people, the provisions and decree accepted as legal regulations belonging to local governments, most importantly, are documents containing court decision reflecting the social and economic life. Despite being a great deal of record about Kastamonu and districts, a few of them have also been studied. This study is a review of Kastamonu court registers on the 4553 number which is available from the National Library in Ankara. Examinig between the years 1309-1311 AH record covers of Kastamonu, the answer to the question of what kind of information was sought about legal, administrative, economic and social formations of Kastamonu's life. With this study, according to the Kastamonu Court Record, enlightening a particular section of Kastamonu's history and at the same time the researchers who will be working in the area are intended to be a source. On this study, firstly, photocopy of record has been taken from the National Library in Ankara and read and transcribed, also the summary and simplification have been made. The study consists of two parts. In the first chapter, Court Registers have been transferred to the Latin alphabet are given in the text. In the second part include summaries of documents cited in the text of interest. As a result, we're working on Kastamonu Şer'iyye Court Records history, culture, literature, geography, law, social sciences and humanities belong to such a wide field contain important information. Concerned register provide information about the socio-cultural life and economic activities of Kastamonu province from the window of the law started in the year 1892-1894.
