Abstract (EN)
In the Social Studies course, different learning approaches can be used to teach students many skills as well as academic knowledge. Cooperative learning is also one of the important approaches used. One of the skills targeted by collaborative learning in the Social Studies course is entrepreneurship. This research, which aims to determine the effect of collaborative learning in the Social Studies course on students' entrepreneurial skills, was conducted with 5th grade students using a sequential explanatory design, one of the mixed method designs. The data of the research were collected through the Entrepreneurship Scale for Secondary School Students, student diaries and semi-structured interview forms. T-test, 2X2 mixed ANOVA and ANCOVA methods were used to analyse statistical data and inductive analysis technique was used for qualitative data. The results of this research revealed that collaborative learning implemented in the Social Studies course improved students' entrepreneurial skills. In addition, it is among the results that students have positive opinions about the Social Studies course, which is carried out using cooperative learning. According to the results of the research, suggestions for practice and for researchers have been made.
