The law no 6284 on the protection of the family and the prevention of violence against women and the implementation of precautionary decisions

This thesis deals with the Law No. 6284 on the Protection of the Family and the Prevention of Violence against Women and the role of precautionary decisions in the prevention of violence against women. Law No. 6284 entered into force in 2012. The policies developed in terms of the prevention of violence against women, the prevention of violence before it has occurred and the legal measures it provides as a means of protection after the occurrence of violence, especially the failure of the implementation of protection measures in the concrete case will be examined on the consequences of implementation problems. This thesis consists of four chapters including the conclusion. In the first part, the concept of violence against women will be discussed together with the types of violence against women, and the course of the development process will be explained. In the second part, the purpose, scope and application of the Law No 6284, in the third part, what the measure decisions consist of, how they are implemented and the application will be evaluated. In the final part, which is the fourth and last part, solutions will be presented in terms of both the practice and the termination of violence against women within the scope of all the narrations.
