Özet (EN)

Muhimme Registers are books that are formed by the collection of the ferman copies of the Divan-ı Humayun, the highest level decision-making body in the Ottoman State. Muhimme Registers are of great importance as it emerges through the writing of important issues that are discussed and reconciled in the Divan-ı Humayûn. It is possible to find a lot of information in these books that will illuminate the political, economic, social and social events that passed to the Divan-ı Humayun. The Muhimme Register, number 73, which we have transcribed and evaluated, covers the first year of the Murat III period (1574-1595) and the Mehmet III period (1595-1603). The banditry activities, one of the biggest problems the Ottoman State faced in 1594-1595, constitute a large part of the book. In addition, the book covers various topics such as grain supply, voyage, butchery, bridge repair, mosque construction, joining of the banners, appointment, and sultan's income. In our study, besides general information about Divan-ı Humayun and Muhimme Registers, the book's shape and content features with transcription and evaluation of the book are also included. At the end of the work, the index and the photocopy of the Muhimme Register 73 are given. Keywords: Mühimme Registers, Divân-ı Hümâyûn, Mühimme, Banditry, Grain
