Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to determine the effects of different pliometric training on 8 weeks physical and physiological parameters of amateur football player. In this study, experimental group with pretest and post - test was used. 24 male amateur soccer players (age range from 18 to 25), 12 of whom were control group and 12 of whom experience group participated in the study. The experimental group continued their normal team training in addition to pliometric training for 3 times a week. The control group maintained only normal team training. Weight, BMI values,Vo2Max measurements, maximal leg strengths, vertical jump and wingate anaerobic forces, long jump and 30 meter speed tests were measured at 8 weeks intervals. In the evaluation of the data, number, percentage, mean, standard deviation methods were used, and Independent Sample t-test test was used to find the difference between the two groups in comparing the quantitative data. Dependent sampling t-test was used for pre-test and post-test analyzes. As a result, 8-week pliometric training in amateur football players has a significant effect on their vertical jump, long jump, leg strength, Vo2Max value and 30 meter speed.
