Abstract (EN)

Purpose: To investigate the effect of 8-week rhythmic gymnastics basic training on static and dynamic balance and power performances for students aged 4-6 who are new to rhythmic gymnastics. Materials and Methods: The research was formed with the voluntary participation of 28 students, 14 in the experimental group and 14 in the control group, who were students in the Mor Kindergarten operating in the Bayrampaşa district of Istanbul province, aged 4-6. In the study, an 8-week rhythmic gymnastics basic training program was applied to the participants and the pre-post test comparison method was used in the data collection process. In this direction, firstly, the vertical jump test, followed by the static balance test, dynamic balance test and body composition measurements were made to the participants, respectively. The analysis of the data was evaluated using the SPSS 22 package program. Data normality was initially confirmed using the Shapiro-Wilk test, which allowed the use of parametric statistical analysis, and the repeated measure ANOVA analysis test method was used to evaluate the significance of the difference between the means of the tests. Results: In the study, hands-free vertical jump test (p=.000), star balance test on the right foot (p=.000), star balance test on the left foot (p=.000), SIGMA XL between the experimental and control groups according to time. easiest 60 seconds (p=.006), SIGMA L easy 30 seconds (p=.001). Conclusion: Hands-free vertical jump test, counter movement jump test, star balance test on the right foot, star balance test on the left foot, SIGMA XL easiest 60 second test, SIGMA L easy 30 second test pretest between the experimental and control groups of the study. There was a statistically significant difference between the post-test and post-test values. Keywords: 4-6 Years Old, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Power, Jump, Balance.
