The purpose of this study is to investigate one of the commentaries on Al-Burdah by Imam Al-Busiri, which is the commentary known as "Teeb Al-Habib" by the scholar Ahmad bin Muhammad Jalal Al-Din Al-Khujandi (d. 802 AH/1400). The poem Al-Burda by Imam Sharaf al-Din al-Busiri in praise of the Prophet, PBUH, received great attention, as it was read, chanted and explained by a large number of Sufis, writers and scholars. These explanations also multiplied and varied between long and short explanations. These explanations were colored according to the art that was prevalent among each scholar, as some of them explained it linguistically, others were interested in grammar, a third in its rhetoric, and a fourth included all the previous colors. As for the explanation of Al-Jalal Al-Khujandi - who is one of the scholars of the ninth century AH - it is considered one of the most important explanations of it, for many reasons, the most important of which is the scientific status of the author of the explanation, and that he tried to explain it in a long explanation in which he combined different sciences. The researcher worked on taking care of this heritage effect, specifically from the beginning of the book to the end of the second chapter, by following the steps of the descriptive historical method when tracing the author's biography, and the method of investigation and commentary when dealing with the text. Therefore, the study was divided into two sections: the study section, which is to introduce the author, his method and sources in the book, and to describe the book and its manuscripts. The second section is the investigated text. Among the most important results of the study: Al-Khujandi followed in his explanation of Al-Burdah a method based on clarifying linguistic meanings, explaining general meanings, paying attention to grammatical meanings and the locations of grammatical sentences, as well as paying attention to rhetorical meanings, and taking care of Sufi references. He was interested in providing evidence for the explanations he provided from the Qur'an, the Sunnah of the Prophet, and the speech of the Arabs in the era of protest. This explanation is also unique in its kind, as it was distinguished by an Irfan language that the author learned from his Sufi sheikhs who taught him their methods of supplication and seclusion. Its sources varied between interpretation, language, jurisprudence, principles, general speech, Sufism, and literature. Among the things that are criticized for his exaggeration in the prose and verbal embellishments, he also provided evidence from weak hadiths in support of some issues and did not comment on their authenticity, but this does not diminish the scientific value of the book.
