Occupational health and safety analysis for the site of 891 residential buildings and 3 trade centers

The studies carried out in the field of occupational health and safety highlight the high rate of work-related accidents that occur in worksites. The high rate of work-related accidents requires to investigate potential risk factors associated with work-related accidents and workers' perception of these risk factors. This investigation further requires development of work-related accident prevention strategies on the basis of the research evidence. There are limited number of researches on this subject. On the basis of this limitation, 891 residential buildings and the constructions of three trade centres' in Ankara have been selected in terms of identifying potential risk factors associated with work-related accidents one year length fieldwork was conducted to gather the data through observation. According to these data risk factors and solution proposals were also presented.
