This descriptive study was planned to investigate the level of knowledge about Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), sexual communication and cultural sensitivity of mothers of 9-14 year old girls. The data of the study were collected with the 'Personal Information Form', 'HPV Information Scale (HPV-SIS)', 'Sexual Communication Scale for Parents (SCS)' and 'Intercultural Sensitivity Scale (ISS)'. Number, percentage, mean, standard deviation, median, Independent sample T-Test, One Way ANOVA, Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis H, PostHoc Tukey HSD tests, Pearson correlation analyses were used in data analysis. The mean score of the mothers on the HPV-SIS was 9,07±8,23. The mean score of the SCS of the mothers was found to be 78,28±9,81. The mean score of the ISS od the mothers was 86,17±11,60. The mean HPV-SIS score of mothers with university education and above was significantly higher than the mean scores of mothers with high school graduates and mothers with secondary school education and below (p<0,05). The mean HPV-SIS score of the mothers who gave unknown side effects as the reason for vaccine refusals was significantly higher than the mean score of the mothers who said they did not know (p<0,05). The scores of SCS is differ statistically significantly according to the educational status variable groups (p<0,05). According to the educational status variable groups, the scores of ISS is statistically significantly different (p<0,05). It was determined that there was a positive relationship between each of variables. It was determined that the HPV knowledge level of the mothers was low and some socio-demographic characteristics affected the main variable in our research.
