Abstract (EN)

Religious registers that comprise judicial records are substantial context from the Ottoman period that we have today. These context have the characteristic of first hand and significant source in order to examine and question language of the era, life style, usage, judicial system, legal ethics, judicial opinions of judges, economic and political life. Other feature of religious registers is have a qualification of being local.Thus religious registers are primary source for there searchers who examine political, social, cultural and economic features of any territory.These registers that had been recorded by judges and cour thoses take an important place in Ottoman state organisation and from the half of the XV. century to the first quarter of the XX. century - at least 472 years- concern closely history of the Ottoman State, economic, political, socialand legal life of Ottoman State and briefly, they are the primary source of theTurkish cultur and history.
