The Abbâsid caliph Mu'tasim-Billâh and his (Caliphate) period

The subject of this study is "The Abbâsid caliph Mu'tasım-Billâh and his (caliphate) period". The purpose is to enlighten Mu'tasım-Billâh and his period. Our work consist of an introduction and three parts. İn the introduction section, the scope, purpose, importance of the study and information on the resources available for the study are provided. In the first part, the life of Mu'tasım before being the caliph and how he has become a caliph are covered. In the second part, military, political, and administrative events were included during his period. In the third chapter, intellectual, scientific, and cultural activities are described during his period and Mu'tasım's personality and death are included.
