Abdülkerim ed-Deban's full name is Abdülkerim b. Hammadi b. Hudair b. Abdurrezzak b. Khalid b. al-Sayyid b. Abdullah. Scholars who knew him describe him as a great scholar, an outstanding jurist and a scholar, a devout and ascetic person. Born in 1910, Deban learned the Quran in the city of Tikrit. Abdülkerim ed-Deban, who draws attention with his modesty and simplicity, is known as a person who is fond of reading and examining scientific works. Ahmed b. Deban, who has various scientific works, is not content with the lectures and sermons he gives, but also dedicates his time to creating copyrighted works in various fields such as tafsir, hadith, fiqh, method, sarcasm, syntax, literature, poetry, mysticism and logic. In the field of Usul-i fiqh, Taceddin es-Sübkî's commentary on his work Cem'u'l-Cevâmi' called Şeru'l-Cedîd and in the field of fiqh, Mecmûat fetâvâ Abdülkerin ed-Deban, as well as a book he wrote in the field of ferâiz and inheritance law. There is a treatise. In addition to the annotation el-Behcetü'l-merdıyye alâ Şerhi'l-Elfiyye in the Arabic language Tavzîhu Katri'n-Nedâ ve Belli's-Sadâ, he wrote a treatise on the rhyme of consumables, prosody and poetry with Tavzîhu't-telhîs. There are also treatises on eating and drinking culture and hadith narration. In the field of kalam, there is an annotation work on the commentary written by Celâleddin ed-Devvânî to Aḳāʾidü'l-ʿAḍudiyye by Adudüddin al-îcî.
