Abdülkerim Hâdî is a writer with a versatile literary personality who was born in 1874 and produces works in fields such as poetry, story, novel, and grammar. He is one of the members of the Intermediate Generation literature between Tanzimat literature and Servet-i Fünûn literature and who creates his works with this understanding. The author, about whom we have limited information, creates his works with an innovative approach in line with Ara Nesil's literary understanding. Âheng-i Sürûr which is one of his three poetry books, the author reflects the themes of the inner world of the individual with an aesthetic and musical approach by making use of the elements of harmony with his unique poetic language. In line with his unique image world and his ability to use language, the poet integrates individualist themes by reinforcing the formal and semantic structure of his poems, making use of rhetoric as well as the elements of measure and harmony, placing his poems on an aesthetic and artistic ground. In addition to the traditional verse units of Divan literature, he creates an innovative and unique poetry world by playing with the fixed verse units that are compatible with the literary understanding of the Intermediate Generation which he is a member of. In this study, Abdülkerim Hâdî's Âheng-i Sürûr was transcribed and discussed in terms of theme, structure, language, and style. Abdülkerim Hâdî, his life, his understanding of poetry, and his book titled Âheng-i Sürûr were analyzed and discussed accordingly.
