The place of Abdulvehhâb b. Muhammed el-Kurtubî's work el-Mûdih fi't-Tecvid, in the science of tecvîd

In this study, in the science of tajwid we discussed the place of 'Abdulwahhāb Bin Moḥammad Al-Qurṭubī 's (461/1068) work named al-Mūḍih fī al-Tajwīd, which was written in the Andalusian intellectual environment of the fifth century of hijri, when the scientific identity of the science of tajwid was formed. While determining the location of anything in the field to which it is connected; In terms of its content, before and after it, resources related to that thing are referred. Within this framework, we tried to fix the tip of the compass in this work and enlarged the angle of the compass with other sources as necessary. We have examined the bets which the aforementioned work deals with by depending on the subject order followed by the work, in this way. By following the introduction, our study consists of five chapters, including the headings of the lahn (solecism, alteration or mistakes in recitation of the Qur'an), the origin (makhraj) and adjectives of letters, the situations related to the composition of words, the vowel mark (harakah) and zero-vowel mark (sukūn), ishmam (add a hint of a harakah or letter to an another existing letter)-rawm (weakening of the sound with a vowel until most of its sound disappears) and the style of recitation of the Qur'an. In addition to this, since the historical phases of the science of tajwid and the life of the author are included in other studies, we have not included these chapters in order to avoid repetition in this study.
