Abstract (EN)
Abdulrahman bin Mahdi is a distinguished scholar who has a vast experience in various deciplines, specially Hadith. He was one of "al-Tabi'in" and cited a lot of good-referenced hadith. Bin Mahdi was endorsed by many scholars; such as Yahya bin Sa'id bin Farroukh al-Qatan, Al-Shafi'I, Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Yahya ibn Ma'in, Abu Ubaid al-Qasim bin Salam, and Malik ibn Anas. He has writings in Impugnment and Validation, which is a key branch in Hadith Science, as it evaluates and rates Hadith narrators. Bin Mahdi stated his own rules for Hadith narration. As a result, his narration was sound, reliable, and good-referenced. The researcher asserts, through this treatise, the importance of Abdulrahman bin Mahdi contribution to the science of Hadith.
