Abstract (EN)

In this study, age structure and some growth-related parameters were investigated in two populations of Ablepharus budaki (Turkey and Cyprus). It is aimed to reveal both intra- population and inter-population relationships in terms of age and growth parameters. The average age of the Cyprus population was 5.37 (4-7), and the average age of the Turkish population was 4.23 (3-6). It has been determined that the two populations compared have a statistically significant difference between the age averages (p=0.001). The mean SVL was measured at 39.45 mm (33.02 mm-45.44 mm) and 37.48 mm (29.59 mm-48.36 mm) in Cyprus and the Turkish populations, respectively. There was no significant difference between the two populations in terms of SVL (t=-1,715, df=46, p=0,093).
