This study is a descriptive study to examine the job satisfaction and burnout status of nurses working in the emergency department. The data of the study; It was collected using the Socio-Demographic Information Form, the Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale, and the Maslach Burnout Scale. 60 nurses who agreed to participate in the study were included in the study. The data were analyzed with SPSS for Windows program. According to the findings of the study for nurses; As the level of depersonalization increases, the levels of internal satisfaction, external satisfaction and general satisfaction decrease. According to the averages, it was determined that the 22-25 age groups had a higher level of extrinsic satisfaction. Internal satisfaction, external satisfaction and general satisfaction levels of those who have 1-9 seizures per month are higher than those who have 10 or more seizures per month. Those who want to change their profession have a higher level of emotional burnout, those who do not want to change their profession have a lower level of depersonalization than those who want and sometimes want to change their profession, those who want to change their profession have a lower level of inner satisfaction, and those who want to change their profession have a lower level of general satisfaction. detected. The findings obtained in the study were compared with the studies in the literature and suggestions were made regarding the job satisfaction and burnout status of the emergency nurses working in the emergency department.
