Abstract (EN)

Excavator ? Truck comnation is widely used for excavation and carriage at open coal mining operations based on stripping of the cover material. Also, ?criplage? and ?lavvar? facilities are used dor sizing all-in coal depending on market requirements and dor improving the quality. While a cost analysis is being conducted it should be kept in mind that, the factors influencing the cost are complementary to each other and any disruption occuring at any stage of mining operations shall have impact on the entire system and shall eventually cause inefficiency. In this study the factors influencing cost of coal at İbrice Mining Operations, Lisence no IR-164 located within the boundaries of Malkara Town of Tekirdağ were analyzed and unit coal cost was found. In the study, excavation-loading and carriage machinery, ?criplage? and ?lavvar? facilities were evaluated independently and it was detected to what extend they influenced cost. Finally it was concluded that the factor most influencing the cost was fuel. Keywords : Open-pit mine, Overburden, Unit cost.
