Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is aimed to investigate the effects of the subcontractor in terms of occupational health and safety and it seffect on work efficiency in surface studies in a mining company in Gümüşhane. Previous accidents / incidents in the field were investigatedand the measures taken by the current company were examined. In addition to this study, a data collection questionnaire was prepared and applied to aboveground workers. Data collection questionnaire: occupational health and safety, demographic features and productivity. A total of 56 questionnaires were evaluated by applying the surveyto 56 personnel. The data collected from the sample group were appliednon-parametrictests in SPSS22 package program. As a result, the necessity of taking precautions regarding occupational health and safety in the field has emerged. As a result of continuous measures and trainings on the events in the field; it is aimed to prevent the dangers that may be encountered in every changing subcontractor. In this context, it is aimed to prevent hazards and risks by recognizing the dangers that mayarise in advance. As a result of the evaluation; measures taken in the name of occupational health and safety are directly related to work efficiency. It has been determined that avoiding the risks and dangers in the companies applying occupational health andsafety results in an increase in productivity.
