The thesis called as ?Analysis of the Adana People House Magazine in Görüşler of Turkish modernization? has examined influences of Adana People House on social and cultural life in Adana and activities about Turkish modernization during the period from its establishment to 1950.Adana People House was founded by Republician and Public Party after the declaration of Republic at 24th February in 1933. The goals of its establishment were to provide the meeting of nation and public, to make public accepted revolutions and formal state ideology, and to spread out revolutions under the Works of establishment of national state.Nine branches of Adana People House were opened and they attracted public interest in the shortest time.Between 1933 and 1951 Adana People House became an important center of social and cultural activities in Adana.It organized many conferences, coffe talks, tea and garden parties, theatres, ceremonies and celebrations for spreading of revolutions. Women took roles in theater plays. It made important studies on language and history considered as an important part of ?Modernization Project? so it made important contributions to the Turkish Language Association.Adana People House made very important activities in different areas, especially in education, in Adana. It assisted to mental, psychological a physical education of people in Adana between 1933 and 1951. Adana People House helped to improve national conscious that is necessary for the constitution of national state and took important role in becoming a modern society by gathering people in Adana in its activities.
