The evaluation of precautions about prevention and effectiveness of traffic accidents due to defects of road, vehicle mechanical failures, climatic conditions and lack of traffic signs, at expert reports of traffic specialized departmend in council of forensic medicine

According to increasing amount of car in our country, car crashes increase day by day and as a consequence of this expanse car crashes result in deaths and loss of properties. Every year, more than 1.2 millions of people die and 50 million more suffer from injuries or impose to disablement because of the car crashes in the earth. Reults of car crashes, deaths, injuries, disablement crashes factors qualified man power loss of the countries and this remains enormous amount of damage to country economies. In order to avoid this losses traffic crash amounts must be lessened. On the base of this purpose of thesis 11.162 crash investigation reports which are prepared in between 01.01.2017 and 31.12.2017 reviewed sent by Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Criminal Courts and Civil Courts with investigation demand to The Council of Forensic Medicine Traffic Specialized Department (Istanbul). Consequently, in 136 crash reasons' that the exception of human factor; road problems, climatic conditions, lack of traffic signs and mechanic problems of the cars are listed and studied personnel, Public Office's responsibilities and countermeasures which are possible to take into consideration.
