Adnan Binyazar's life, art and works

Adnan Binyazar, one of the prolific writers of contemporary Turkish literature, has produced many works in the field of essays, novels, short stories, children's literature and research and analysis since 1965. However, it does not have a recognition to the extent of its productivity. It should be said that Binyazar is one of the qualified writers that requires a comprehensive examination with more than thirty works he brought to Turkish literature. Binyazar, placing his life at the center of his art, begins his writing career in 1965 with the story "Tohum". Binyazar, who made a name for himself after the novels he published and the various literary awards he received, has an understanding of art that moves between fiction and reality. In the works of the author, who blends fiction with autobiographical elements, it is seen that autobiographical events and situations are frequently handled on the axis of the use of the language of self. In his novels and stories, which generally focus on the lives of ordinary people, the place of the individual in society, his expectations, feelings and thoughts and the problems he encounters are discussed. Accordingly, in his works, common themes such as poverty, death, love, childhood, loneliness, pessimism and love were handled with a critical attitude on a social and individual scale. Elements such as plot, time, place and character, which form the basic structure of fictional texts, have an organic order and integrity in Binyazar's works.In the study, three novels, a biography, fairy tale and story books that he wrote in the field of children's literature were examined under the titles of fiction, plot, people, messages, theme, language and expression and basic education principles.As a result of this examination made in the context of his life, art and works, the place of Adnan Binyazar in Turkish literature has been tried to be determined.
