Abstract (EN)

Energy is heavily used depending on the processes and equipment used during the operation of the wastewater treatment plants. Biogas production from sewage sludge has recently become a widespread energy production technique. Nowadays, the biogas produced by the use of waste as a source of raw materials, electricity production from biogas has increased potential. This study was carried out by obtaining semi - monthly data for September 2016 - February 2017 in order to investigate the biogas production amounts of A.İ.B.A.A.T. sewage sludge. The amounts of biogas produced in response to sludge formation are given in tables and graphs. Within the study; The elemental analysis of the biogas produced in A.I.B.A.A.T. resulted in CH4 66.61%; CO2 is found to be in average values of 33.5%. February-2017 values of COD removal 93.45%; AKM was 91.04%; BOD% 90,76; TN 76.85%; TP was determined as 81,69%. Monthly average values in terms of kg / m3 as a result of organic matter analysis made in the sludge are TKM 52,6; AKM 6-7; The UKM was found to be 26,35. The results of this thesis study showed that the values obtained when compared with the data obtained from İSKİ and the literature study are appropriate.
