Abstract (EN)
The ancientness of the zurna instrument, which is one of the fixture instruments of Adıyaman folk dances, can be described as an indisputable element. The essence of the work carried out in this regard can be interpreted as carrying out studies that will ensure the direct or indirect survival of this instrument. The mute shepherd's pipe, on the other hand, is one of the instruments that stands out with its suitability for every style of music that has been modernised today, and it is also rooted in history. The main summary of this study can be described as both helping an instrument to survive and aiming to keep the culture alive with different instrument performances by providing a repertoire for another instrument. Within the scope of the study, a total of 34 pieces from 2 different groups were notated and 17 pieces (34 pieces in total) performed jointly by 2 groups were evaluated in order to evaluate the study on a sound basis. The evaluated works were notated. Determinations for the performance of these works with the mute shepherd's pipe were written and some works were performed. The performed works were added with QR code. As a result of the study, it was concluded that all the works obtained while performing with zurna are suitable for the mute shepherd's pipe instrument, but there are elements such as execution techniques and similar elements to be considered. Keywords: Adıyaman, Zurna, Dilsiz Çoban Kavalı, Adiyaman Folk Dances.
