Abstract (EN)
This study examined the rooting performance of three grapevine rootstocks in the aeroponic system, commonly used in Turkiye. Grapevine cuttings taken during the rest period in December were placed in the aeroponic system after the necessary pretreatments, and the rooting processes were evaluated in detail. During the rooting process, the aeroponic system significantly improved root length, root number, and rooting rate. No negative situation regarding disease and harmful factors was observed in the daily controls. The study's results revealed the positive effects of aeroponic systems in increasing rooting performance. The advantages offered by these systems are essential in terms of sustainability and productivity in agriculture. Considering global challenges such as climate change and the decrease in agricultural areas, aeroponic systems are expected to find a more comprehensive application area in the future. As a result of the study, the highest root length was observed in 110R with 17.77 cm, while the lowest root length was observed in 1103P rootstock with 7.1 cm. The highest rooting rate was observed in 1103P rootstock with 25 ppm IBA application at 76.67% and in 100 ppm IBA application at 73.33%. The lowest rooting was observed at a 10% rate in 110R rootstock with 100 ppm IBA application dose and in the control group.
