An application with bocr based anp method for warehouse location selection in disaster logistics

Disasters, which we have frequently encountered throughout our history and are among the problems that deeply affect our country, are one of the main problems that significantly affect the economic, social and social structure. The way to minimize the losses caused by large-scale disasters is to predict the possible damages by taking scientific, technological, legal and managerial measures before the disaster occurs and to reduce the effects of the destruction that occurs, not to fight the disaster. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that the cycle of preparedness, response and recovery functions flawlessly in order to overcome disasters without loss or with minimum loss. The rapid and effective delivery of humanitarian aid supplies and equipment to the points of need plays a critical role in the logistics activities of disaster management. The strategic location of disaster warehouses constitutes an important part of the decisions to be taken in disaster logistics. This study aims to determine the appropriate warehouse location for disaster logistics using Analytic Network Process (ANP)/Benefits, Opportunities, Costs and Risks. First of all, the criteria determined in line with the literature review and expert opinions were categorized in accordance with the nature of the BOCR method. Using the ANP-BOCR method, which is a Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) approach, the criteria weights were determined and the ranking of the three alternatives was carried out. In this context, three alternatives were evaluated according to twenty-nine criteria determined by taking expert opinions.
