Abstract (EN)

Legumes have many ecological and economicimportance such as soil and water conservation, animal health, nutrition, biodiversity, wildlife, as well as quality roughage for animals in meadows and pastures. In this study, some Astragalus L. taxa (Astragalus pinetorum Boiss. subsp.declinatus podlech, Astragalus densifolius L. Astragalus microcephalus Willd.,Astragalus lagurus L., Astragalus aduncus L.)taxa belonging to the leguminous family, which are found in Ağrı Mountain flora, which is the biggest mountain of our country, were determined. The raw protein (CP), crude ash (Cash), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), acid detergent fiber (ADF) and magnesium (Mg), calcium (Ca), potassium (K) and phosphorus (P) were investigated. CP values of Astragalus species 7,01-19,53%; Cash 5,7-8,6%; Mg (1.08-1.51%), Ca (0.93-1.18%), K (1.12-5,37%), P (0.82-2.92%), Astragalus aduncus and Astragalus declinatus species were found to be higher in CP than in other species. The NDF values of the species ranged from 65,46% to 34,19% and the ADF values ranged from 49.15% to 22.74%. The highest and lowest ADF and NDF values were Astragalus microcephalus andAstragalus aduncusspecies, respectively. However, in terms of the content of Astragalus taxa, crude proetin and mineral contents, the contents of the nutrient content, both annual and perennial legumes, were found to be significant in terms of pasture livestock.
