Ahiretü'l Memâlîk Ev Vakıatü's-Sultanü'l Gavrî Mea Selimü'l Osmanî is one of the most important works of Ibn Zunbul. The author has witnessed both the Mamluks period and the period of the Ottoman domination in Egypt and has processed it in his work. Although we have limited information about Ibn Zunbul's life, it is understood that he wrote his work in public. Abdulmun'im Amr republished the work in 1961. İn the work; He talked about the administrative structure of the Mamluk State, the reasons that led them to war with the Ottoman Empire, the correspondence of the sultans with each other, the wars between them, the epic clashes of the Mamluk emirs -especially Tuman Bay and Şadi Beg-, the military structure of the period, the weapons used and the transition process of Egypt to the Ottoman domination. Ibn Zunbul also included poems in his work. In addition, an epic narration comes to the fore in the work. He especially preferred to describe the war scenes by depicting them. The author personally witnessed these events. This situation increases the importance of the work even more.
