The effect of kiraat differences on the interpretation of the verses of ahkam (The Tahavi example)

Recitation are an important branch of science that must be studied for a better understanding of the Quran. Since the revelation of the Holy Quran, scientists trying to better understand the Quran have each carried out important studies in their own fields. Researchers related to the science of fiqh have worked on the dimension of the Ahkam verses of recitation, and those dealing with the science of tafsir have worked on a better understanding of the entire Quran. In this study, the fact that Abu Ca'fer et-Tahavi, an important jurist of his time, carried out important studies in Egypt and that he had a work called Ahkam al-Qur'an for a better understanding of the verses of the rules, attracted us to work on this subject. While carrying out the study, after giving the differences in recitation in the Ahkam verses, an effort was made to focus on what difference they bring to the meaning, which of these differences is preferred, and the differences of opinion of the sects due to these differences. As can be seen from above, the main purpose of this study is; It is to better understand the effect of the science of recitation on the verses of Ahkam. In the study, this work of Tahavi was used as the basis and the verses of Ahkam were examined in detail. While carrying out the study, in addition to the work Ahkâmü'l-Kur'ân, the basic sources of the science of recitation were used, and after the understanding effect of these recitation differences was given, the views of the sects were also included. In particular, some recitation differences have created serious sectarian disagreements while explaining that verse of provision.
