Abstract (EN)
Ahmed Sûzî is a sufi poet who lived in Sivas region in the last quarter of XVIII. th. century until the middle of XIX. th. century. He had tried to clarity the people around him by sitting on the enightenment rug for 30 years in Şemsîyye/ Sivasîyyedervish convent wich is branch of the Khalwetiyya sect and founded by his ancestor Sheikh Şemseddin. Ahmed Sûzî who had never married during his life, had devoted his life to enlighten people and to keep the englightement way opened by propehets, open. He had dried to servet o this holy aim with Şemsîyye derwish convent founded by his anchestor and the pupils he trianed and Works he gave. One of these works is Sülûk-nâme. Ahmed Sûzî wanted to be a guide to the people who joined the God's way and who wanted to gain his consent. Ahmed Sûzî wanted to inform the people about the difficulties they might have encosntered and the traps they might have fallen into, by making the people aware of them beforehand. Briefly in Sülûk-nâme the good menners which people must have adapted during the way. They had been moving ahead and the conditions they must have carried out had been explained. İn the fiest chapter of our thesis consisting of three chapters, we dealt with the social, economic, religious and sufi circumstances of the therm Ahmed Sûzî lived. İn the first chapter we examined Ahmed Sûzî's family, his birth, his, scientific adventure, his dependence to sufism. General features of the sect, he connected with and the chaliphes he trained. İn the second chapter we tried to explain sufi conceptions, expressed at this work by examing Sülûk-nâme. İn the third chapter we gave place to translation of to days Tukish and its transcriptisned text of Sülûk-nâme. At the end of the thesis lexicon and copy of the text example were given place to be understood easily.
