Ahmedi's Yusuf u Züleyha

THE SUMMARYIn this study we produced a new transcript by comparing five different copiesof Yûsuf u Züleyhâ. Linguistic studies are found to be quiet difficult on those for thereason that copying works were performed in various periods of time or inspirationsfrom the these kinds of scripts were recorded as if ?copyrighted translation? by oldliterature specialists in terms of structure and expression.Although written in XVIIIth century, in this work, features of Old TurkishPeriod and Northern, Eastern and Western Turkish could present at the same time.Therefore, this study shows that periods of linguistic history are, in fact, overlappedas if ringed formation. The properties of recent Turkish are also present since writtenwithin a near period of time.In the introduction, detailed examples from the problems and characteristics alongthe study are also presented.
