Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the history of the ethics of responsibility is summarized and the term "responsibility" is defined; in consideration of the knowledge gained, Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar's approaching and handling of the term "responsibility" in his novels is aimed to be presented. Then Tanpınar's literary crisis caused by "the double responsibility" that he bears both as an intellectual for the society and as an artist/author for himself and for his work is researched.
