Ahmet Rasim's grammar book named Yeni Usul Muallim-i Sarf

Language is a factor that play an important role in expressing people's own wishes, expectations, briefly stated their thoughts and feelings. Language provides the continuity of the society and plays a decisive function in transferring of culture of the society from generation to generation. Therefore, particular attention is given to language training in the teaching and learning process. The subject of grammar creates one of the most important steps of the language education. The number of writers working about grammar and giving creation in this area is quite high. Ahmed Rasim is one of the many writers who work on this subject. İn this study; Ahmet Rasim's work which is encountered several printings by referring to his life and which is the most voluminous one named "Yeni Usul Muallim-i Sarf" was transcribed by translating letters. Also, the term index related to grammar is appended to the end of the study. İn this way, by explaning the grammar terms aforementioned in the work, it was trying to make a contribution to vocabulary of dictionaries written about this subject.
