Abstract (EN)
The machines, used for furniture manufacturing sector that have an important position in business lines in our country, have been highly improved by the help of the industrial revolution. The furniture sector, having a multiple product range, is classified as dangerous in terms of job security. The machines and equipments used in the field, noise, dust and chemicals to which workers are exposed indicate the importance of health and safety at furniture sector. The furniture sector ranks 5thafter mining, construction, transportation and metal sectors in which the most of the work accidents occur. In this study, the existing risks were determined in a workplace manufacturing wood and furniture and risk analysis practice was carried out with "Type L Matris" that is one of the matris of risk assessment. In consequence of this study, suggestion is offered regarding the removal of analyzed risks or minimizing them.
