Exegesis of Ahzâb 37. verse

At the time when Kur'an-ı Kerim was descending, the exposition of the revelation was being made by Prophet Muhammad himself. After his passing to hereafter, companion and successors kept continuation of the activities of exposition. The exposition was improved day by day and after specializing era, finally self-contained studies were carried out to our century. Moving away from the age named Happiness Age, which is the age of Prophet Muhammad and his companions, some weaknesses has occured at understanding the meaning and intentions of revelation. In order to fix those weaknesses, the idea of explaining time's cognizance accrued by discussing some versicles whose meaning remained indefinite and which we need the declaration of. The versicle Ahzâb 37., which is the thesis subject, is one of the versicles which we need it to be searched and understood correct. Our study, with the meaning of the versicle Ahzâb 37. and its expositon, starts with introduction part involving the informations about the versicle's, Ahzâb 37., which we ground on, generally; content, main objective, virtue, descending reason. In the first exposition of the versicle, after explaining the sura's speciality and contents the sura mentions the only companion that is aforesaid in sura, Zeyd bin Harise, explains him as a person and gives information about his life briefly and tells some cases with Zeynep bint Cahs. The point of the versicle is "Tebenni" (Adoption), is talked from place to place and explained how adoption is viewed in the days of ignorance so the versicle is easier to understand. This explanation makes so that we can better understand the interperations of the classical and modern era interpreters. The thesis content involving intricate meanings caused assigning different meanings by both Islamic scholars and orientalists, in this way in order to hinder the misevalutaions, precise information was tried to reach by rumors being examined favourably to methodology of hadith criterions.
