The family businesses in the economies of the countries tend to increase in our country as in the world. It is seen that the family businesses constituted almost 90% of businesses in Turkey, correspond to production, employment and the large part of total earnings. In family businesses that differ from other companies in terms of their structural features, manager preferences are mostly used for boys. The number of women entering the labor life in Turkey has increased. However, when the ratio of women in management is examined, it is seen that the same increase has not been realized. As in many countries all over the world, women are underrepresented in management in Turkey. In this study, the effectiveness of female shareholders in the management of the family businesses in Corum province was investigated. According to the results, it was determined that the transferability rate of the family businesses in Turkey for the second and third generation has been very low, the majority of women had an interview has been in management, the women has not encountered any problem due to feminity, being a working woman has been a great privilege, there have been many material and spiritual contributions, they have taken responsibility and responsibility in all stages of management such as decision making, planning and organization, there have been some problems due to fact that the family elders have had the right to comment on something.
