Abstract (EN)

It is a research analysing the factors that effect the vocational students'expectations about jobs and higher education. The influence of accomodation that defines the families socio-economic situation, monthly total profit, the number of sisters and brothers and the amount left to the students as their pocket money is analysed. Students' school, school type, type of field at school and fathers' jobs variabilities are found to be important at the expectations for the job. In general students want to work at the jobs they have been trained yet they don't want to work with the families whose jobs are irreleveant with their school trainings. The elements except from the father's jobs are effective in the selection of higher education choices after vocational education. Most of the students want to go on higher education related to their vocational field. Very small number of students want to join correspondence school. Vocational education at schools get the expected feedback from the students but it is also observed that some of the students want to go on higher education whose field is different from the field at school. Starting with the primary education students can be presented occasions where they can test their capabilities and we can prevent the attitude to go on different fields different from their vocational trainings at school. So vocational training can be the choice of free will of students rather than a compulsory one. Key words: Job expectatioın after vocational training, Higher education expectation after vocational training, socio-economy, family, vocational training
