Özet (EN)

In this study titled "Shop No. 1 in the South Stoa of Aizanoi Agora", the structure named Shop No. 1, which was unearthed during the 2021 excavations in the Ancient City of Aizanoi, and the finds discovered in shop were examined. Based on the ceramics and coins recovered in the structure, it was attempted to determine which type of products were traded here and between what dates they were used. Fifty-three finds were evaluated within the scope of the study. Forty-seven of these are terracotta finds consisting of whole or nearly complete fragments. The finds aforementioned were evaluated typologically and compared with similar ones. The other group of finds consists of coins, which is an extremely important point of reference for dating. The earliest example of bronze coins is the coin minted in Aizanoi in behalf of Emperor Claudius (AD 41-54). The terracota finds and coins discovered in Shop No. 1, some of them in situ, indicate that the building was actively used for oil lamps and/or lamp-related products between the 1st and 3rd centuries AD.
